About PlayChainle
Two browser puzzles: find the word that connects the clues, or find a combination that adds up to 100.
What you can play here
PlayChainle is an independently operated puzzle website at playchainle.com. You can play without registering an account or paying an entry fee.
In Chainle, you work through five rounds of word associations. Most rounds ask for a word connecting two or three clues; the final round asks for a strong association with one clue. Each round has a preset top answer, accepted alternatives, and hints. Unlimited mode is for practice.
In Dartle, you choose up to three distinct answers from a trivia category. Their assigned values must add up to 100. You can stop below 100; going over scores zero. The daily boards use explicit dates rather than selecting a new board on each visit.
Where answers and scores come from
Chainle's published clues, hints, accepted answers, and point values are stored in this site's puzzle data. Points reflect that puzzle's accepted-answer list and scoring rules, not a universal measurement of how closely two words are related. A reasonable association can be missing from the list.
Our Chainle answers explain the puzzles hosted here. They are not an official answer service for another website's daily game. Dartle boards use category-specific reference values; the Dartle answers include the board's source and combinations calculated from its available answers.
The website's existing terms explain its inspiration and independence from other game creators. Names and factual reference material do not imply endorsement by their owners.
Puzzle corrections
If an answer seems wrong, send the game, puzzle date, round or category, and the answer you tried to our contact address. For a factual correction, include a reference we can check.
Reports can be checked against the published puzzle data, scoring rules, and cited source. A correction needs to agree across the game and its answer page. An automated publication date alone does not mean a human reviewed the puzzle that day.
An anonymous game, not an account
Local saves remember progress in your browser. Daily scores also sync to our server for each game's rankings and streaks, using a generated player ID and nickname. This does not provide cross-device account recovery. Our privacy policy explains storage, analytics, and the information shown publicly.
